Intern and Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Projects

MassBike has monthly volunteer nights at our office. Please click here to find out about the next one.

Additionally, here are some things we'd love help with. Please call or email and let us know what you’re interested in. Recurring volunteer opportunities include:

  • General o ffice work and mailings. We're fun, come hang out!
  • Help at MassBike or partner events (may include a T-shirt!).
  • Graphic design. Especially graphic design.
  • Computer technical assistance.

Internships

Do you care about the environment, transportation issues, and health? MassBike, Massachusetts' statewide bicycling advocacy organization, is seeking interns for a substantive, meaningful experience. Whether you are a college or graduate student, retiree, or professional who is taking time off work and looking to build new skills, MassBike has a role for you. Our internships are unpaid, but we are committed to ensuring that our interns take on critical projects and develop professional skills. Full-time interns are preferred and college credit is available, but even one day a week helps MassBike—the more time you are able to commit, the better the learning experience. Internships are available in Graphic Design, Fundraising, Grantwriting, Communications, Advocacy, Diversity Outreach, and Tech/Web. Please send a resume and cover letter to bikeinfo@massbike.org.

You can get involved with bicycling in your community by joining or starting a MassBike chapter. You can also join or start a local bicycle advisory committee.
