Join us Friday, June 22nd, from 6 pm to 9 pm for a kickoff event to introduce the Central Mass community to our newest chapter of cycling advocates. The evening will feature a fundraiser silent auction to benefit the new Central Mass chapter of MassBike, with prizes donated by local Worcester businesses and bike shops.

The various donated items include a package of yoga classes at Kula Yoga and Wellness in Worcester, a set of WTB Riddler tubeless-ready tires, a full bike tune-up and accessories from Fritz’s Bike Shop, a Stan’s NoTubes sealant package, gift cards to local shops and restaurants, and a his and hers set of retro Schwinn cruiser bikes, as well as many other items to help you and your bike get ready for the summer. All proceeds from the auction will directly contribute to funding the Central MA chapter of MassBike, an advocacy group benefiting cyclists in Worcester County and beyond.

For your dining pleasure, there will be delicious Jamaican food provided by One Love Café, and for the adults over 21, there will be a tasty selection of brews from the taproom of 3cross Fermentation Cooperative, Massachusetts’ first community-owned brewery.

Representatives from MassBike will be on hand to talk about the benefits of MassBike, provide literature and membership opportunities, and discuss why and how the Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition (MassBike) promotes a bicycle-friendly environment and encourages bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation.
