Save the date for the 9th Golden Spike Conference, happening October 14th in Natick! Join the Mass Central Rail Trail Coalition and trails advocates from across the state to learn more about the status of major projects along the Mass Central Rail Trail (MCRT) and take part in outdoor tours that explore area trails. The conference will take place by the Cochituate Rail Trail, which is not along the main MCRT route but will be a connecting trail and part of the extended trail network.

This conference will also cover the recent report about the MCRT, which answers the never before asked question about a trail in New England: What would a 100+ mile long trail mean to the Commonwealth and the communities along the way?  The consultant, Kittelson & Associates, and their team will be at the conference to explain their findings.
