Massachusetts was ranked #1 most bicycle-friendly state in 2022 by the League of American Bicyclists, but we know there is still significant work to do to make Massachusetts better for riders of all ages and abilities. 

In 2022, thanks to the support from advocates like you, MassBike was able to:

• Pass legislation defining e-bikes and establishing e-bike rebates
• Host intergenerational events for youth & older adults
• Distribute 89 e-bikes to low-income individuals in Worcester
• Promote bicycling statewide with Bay State Bike Month in May, which featured 160 events in over 40 municipalities
