    This Childhood Cancer Awareness month you can make a difference for kids with cancer by joining The Million Mile.

    The Million Mile is a month-long virtual challenge that funds critical childhood cancer research. Whether you walk, cycle, or run, YOU can go the distance for children fighting cancer. Participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to log miles throughout September while raising money to help kids with cancer.

    Our goal is to collectively move a million miles this September. Register now and join The Million Mile today for free!

  • Tri-State Trek Ride To End ALS

    The Tri-State Trek is a fully supported, weekend biking event (June 26-28) with a home base at UNH. Day 1 ride (June 27) is a southern route through New Hampshire & into Massachusetts. Day 2 (June 28) is a northern route through New Hampshire and into southern Maine. All funds raised go directly to research at ALS TDI. ALS TDI is a nonprofit biotech focused solely on ALS research.   • Rules of the Ride for Middle Schoolers

    The Rules of the Ride bike event for  5th, 6th, 7th and 8th  grade students on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Wellesley High School parking lot. The Rules of the Ride is a fun, hands-on way to learn bike handling and safely. Participants will learn important bike safety skills and confidence so they can ride safely and legally to school and throughout  Wellesley.  Instructors will teach critical skills and the Wellesley Police Department will lead a guided ride along the Brook Path. Participants will have helmets and bikes checked for proper fit and safety, followed by brief group instruction and a guided ride. Space is limited; no cost!  Register through the Wellesley Rec Department Activity # 231505

    Choose between a family-friendly paved ride or an unpaved option (mountain or gravel bike) exploring Jericho Forest and connecting trails in Lincoln and/or Sudbury. Free pizza to follow!!

    Join Assembly Connect’s Ride Ready Bike Series for a guided community ride from Assembly to East Somerville, celebrating the area’s vibrant street art scene! Cruise through the neighborhood, connect with fellow riders, and experience a fun, social ride filled with color and creativity.

    Along the way, we’ll stop to explore a variety of murals and public artwork, with local artist Liz LaManche joining us to share insights and stories behind the pieces. Her perspective will bring an added layer of depth and inspiration to the ride.

    Whether you’re here for the art, the ride, or the community, this is a unique way to experience Somerville from a new point of view!
