Guided Ride Series - Northern Strand

We'll guide you along the comfortable, separated bike infrastructure and demonstrate how easy, convenient, and fun it can be to ride a bike in Boston. Over the last 15 years, Greater Boston has built a growing network of robust infrastructure for bikes that overlaps significantly with the MBTA. The GRS will teach you where and how to make seamless connections with the T that increase your mobility options. Weekday and weekend options are available beginning in April 2025. Click the 'sign up' button below to reserve your free spot. Each ride has room for eight people so sign up with friends, family, or colleagues to bring some added fun to the experience!
*The Guided Ride Series is designed for people who already know how to ride a bicycle and are interested but concerned about riding in a downtown setting. This is NOT a learn-to-bike programWe will convene at 7-Acre Park in Everett, near the Northern Strand bike path. Ride participants should bring their own bicycles and helmets. Join fellow riders for a morning of cycling camaraderie, basic bike check-ups, and exclusive discounts to get you road-ready.
This ride will depart from Battle.road.bikes in Lexington, offering an opportunity for women cyclists of all levels to connect, ride together, and enjoy a great cycling experience.
There will be a moderate pace group and a faster pace group. Riders should have experience riding a road or hybrid bike and it will be requirement to wear a helmet. This ride will be 27 miles total distance.MUST RSVP TO ATTEND!

Leisurely Inter-Generational Ride to Look Park

We will ride at a conversational pace 4.5 mi to the park where we’ll stop for lunch (BYO) and then head back to the Senior Center.

Bike Tour of Conservation Properties
Posted on Massachusetts Bike-Friendly Events Calendar by Lorraine Fryer · April 29, 2026 1:43 PM · 1 reactionStarting at the Terrace Trails behind the College Church and the Cutchins Programs, we will ride 3 1⁄2 miles at a conversational pace to the Connecticut River Greenway, stopping along the way at the Montview Conservation Area, the Jail Farm, and Sheldon Field, and then return along the same way. At each stop we will share a bit about the property’s history and current status.
This ride is hosted by the Meadow City Conservation Coalition.

Landry's Braintree Road Ride

The ride offers different routes and paces, suitable for drop-handlebar road bikes: beginner 13-15 mph (with focus on group-ride learning and fun), enthusiast 16-17 mph (depending on group attendance), focused on a brisk, but conversational pace for a 2-hour ride. Please meet at Landry's Braintree store at 6:45am for a brief safety talk. Ride starts at 7:00am and returns to the store around 9:00-9:30am. All rides are no drop, but please choose paced based on your current ability. Helmets and flat tire kit required, daytime flashing lights recommended. Contact Landry's Braintree store for more info.

Second Summer Cycle - Cape Cod's Charity Bike Event

With safety as our top priority, the ride spans multiple towns and has 4 distances (15, 34, 60, 101-miles), all of which start and end at Smugglers Beach in South Yarmouth. A celebration with food trucks, cold brews, and live music awaits riders, volunteers, and their families/friends at the finish. The event welcomes riders of all levels and is fun for all.
