UPDATE: The news is out - it's the long-awaited bike share system, now called Hubway. The contract is being signed at the ceremony today and the launch is scheduled for July. Click here for the Globe story.

This just in from the City of Boston. No other details are available, but it sounds like it will be good news! And a free lunch!

Please join Mayor Menino and Boston Bikes for a major announcement tomorrow, Thursday April 21, 2011 from 1:30-2:00 PM on City Hall Plaza. Since we can't giveaway the topic of the announcement we can promise free food to everyone with a bicycle. Come enjoy a Boloco burrito, a bit of music and a very cool press announcement.
