Council of Advocates
Join the discussion and learn more about MassBike’s projects and network with other cycling advocates! We discuss the wants, needs, concerns, and opportunities for cyclists in each community. The Council of Advocates members help us gain a better understanding of current issues and how we can work together to create better biking in Massachusetts.

Advocates meet virtually to discuss biking needs, concerns, and opportunities in their communities … and MassBike facilitates turning those conversations into advocacy and action throughout the state!
As a cyclist and trails user, you understand the importance of infrastructure and education that make cycling for transportation and recreation safe and fun. The Council of Advocates has been created with the goal of having regional representation to exchange ideas on cycling goals, challenges, and needs.
Past meeting topics have included: Vision Zero, Youth Bike Summit, Statewide E-Bike Voucher, Candidate Questionnaire, People for Bike’s City Ratings, The Bike Leagues’s Bicycle Friendly Communities & Micromobility in MA.
