Bay State Bike Month Returns May 2024

While it’s still February and the winter chill has returned, at MassBike we’re already gearing up for Bay State Bike Month, which returns this May!

We’ve made a few changes to make information about Bike Month as easy to access as possible. Events will be hosted on our Massachusetts Bike-Friendly Events Calendar and Bike Month will have a dedicated space on the MassBike site.

All things Bay State Bike Month can now be found at: www.massbike.org/bike-month. Resources are available now to help you plan your bike-friendly events and we’ll be updating the page as May approaches, so remember to check back regularly.

Key dates to keep in mind:

Wednesday, May 1st - Massachusetts Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day
Sunday, May 5th - National Ride A Bike Day
May 13th-19th - Bike to Work Week
Friday, May 17th - Bike to Work Day

We’re seeking a talented graphic designer to create this year’s Bike Month t-shirt design! Each year our shirt design celebrates bicyclists of all ages and abilities in Massachusetts. Design pitches are due by February 26th at 9am.
