Join MassBike and the Proctor Family on Sunday, May 11, 2025, to honor the memory of Charlie Proctor and celebrate his life by raising funds for safer roadways.

Charlie Proctor was killed while out on a bike ride on May 5, 2020, just nineteen days before his twenty-eighth birthday. He was a kind, adventurous, intelligent man who spread his joy and zest for life to everyone he knew. This memorial ride is an opportunity to ride for Charlie and help make roads safer for all cyclists.

Ride Details This is a casual-paced ride with 20-mile and 40-mile route options leaving from the Tufts Bacow Sailing Pavilion. After the ride, join us for a celebration of Charlie’s life.

The $100 registration fee will go to the Charlie Proctor Memorial Fund. Riders are encouraged to set up an individual fundraiser to further support safer roadways, but there is no minimum required for additional fundraising.
