On Wednesday May 21st, we will gather to memorialize the 13 victims of traffic violence in 2024 for the International Ride of Silence. Named "Gracie's Ride" in honor of Gracie Gancheva who was killed visiting Boston near the Children's Museum in the Seaport.

To learn more about Gracie's story, support her family and pedestrian safety in Boston and Denver, you can visit Gracie's Giving Foundation at https://www.graciesgivingproject.com/.

We will meet at the Hood Milk Bottle Plaza for a 6:30 PM memorial. At 7:30 we will have a family paced, no-drop 6 mile group bike ride ride to visit sites where pedestrians have been killed on the streets of Boston, including Noah Greany in Andrew Square and Diva Helena Pina de Carvalho at Roxbury Crossing. We will end our ride on Memorial Drive near the BU Boathouse where John Corcoran was killed riding on the Paul Dudley Path.

Their lives have been taken by traffic violence but we will not let their light go out
Together we will honor their legacy and speak on how we will prevent future deaths.

This ride is a part of Ride of Silence, a movement of silent group bike rides happening worldwide each year on May 21st honoring victims of traffic violence and advocating for safer streets. You can learn more about the Ride of Silence movement here: https://rideofsilence.org/main.php
