For Pete's Sake 2022
For Pete's Sake is a fundraiser ride to celebrate and honor the life of Peter Del Sette, Jr., an avid bicyclist and charity ride supporter and local Beverly resident. Peter loved riding the North Shore and throughout the region in support of worthy causes that he helps with every pedal stroke. Sadly, Peter was killed when a car crashed into his bike on September 12, 2020 while on a charity ride, and MassBike has worked with Peter's friends and family to establish a fund that would go toward supporting safer biking throughout the state.
This is the second annual For Pete's Sake ride. This year, we'll start and end at Gentile Brewing in Beverly with two route options. Riders can choose to ride either the 20ish-mile or 50-mile route.
After the ride, we'll be hosting a post-ride celebration at Gentile Brewing which will start around noon. Each registered participant will receive one free beer and food at the celebration. Gentile Brewing will be donating $1 per beer sold on ride day to MassBike.
The $20 non-rider ticket grants you entry to the after-ride celebration and includes 1 free beer and food.
Choose your ticket level below based on which route you would like to ride. All donations will go directly to the Peter Del Sette, Jr Memorial Fund to support safer bicycling in Peter's memory.
