Join us on September 29th to Ride For Pete's Sake. This is a fundraiser ride to celebrate and honor the life of Peter Del Sette, Jr. who loved riding the North Shore and throughout MA, in support of worthy causes that he helped with every pedal stroke. 

Sadly, Peter was killed in a bike crash on September 12, 2020 while on a charity ride, and MassBike has worked with Peter's friends and family to establish a fund to support safer biking throughout the state. The Ride for Pete's Sake will benefit MassBike’s roadway safety advocacy efforts in Peter's memory.

There are 25-mile and 50-mile ride options that explore the beautiful North Shore. The Beverly Bicycle Committee is also leading a 7-mile family friendly ride. No matter your age or ability, there is a way for you to Ride for Pete's Sake!

After Party Details

After the ride, we’ll convene at Gentile Brewing Company for some refreshments and to remember Peter. The after party is included in the registration fee and includes one complimentary beer. 

Those who do not wish to ride, can purchase an after-party ticket for $20. All proceeds will go towards the Peter A. Del Sette Jr. Memorial Fund for safer roadways.
