Girls in Gear New Volunteer Training

At Girls in Gear, we’re a nonprofit on a mission to make sure every girl has the chance to grow into the biggest, boldest, and brightest version of themselves - on and off their bike. We're looking for joyful, no-experience-necessary volunteers of all gender identities and riding abilities to co-lead our after-school programming and weekend sessions this spring. Whether you have a few hours or a few weeks, we have flexible volunteer opportunities that fit your schedule and make a real difference. See us in action here.
Neither coaching nor biking experience is required. All you need to bring is your most joyful and dynamic self - we'll provide the rest. All coaches receive training and are supported by staff throughout their volunteer experience. We supply minute-by-minute lesson plans and coaching materials.
