Great Tree Ride
Join All Bodies on Bike Western Mass, Friends of Northampton Trails, and All Out Adventures on Sunday May 19th at 11 AM to celebrate inclusive bike rides and amazing trees!
We will meet at the Roundhouse Parking Lot on 5/19 at 11 AM. We'll ride 5 paved miles through Northampton, stopping several times to look at the coolest trees! We'll end the ride at Pulaski Park with snacks!
SCHEDULE:
Pre-ride talk starts at 11 AM (please be there and ready by 11!)
Ride out at 11:15 AM
Back to Pulaski Park around 1 PM
ROUTE:
The ride is 5.5 miles through Northampton on paved roads. There are a couple of hills, but the route is mostly flat. We will ride for a couple short sections on slightly busier roads, otherwise the route sticks to quiet streets.
We will ride at an average pace of 5-7 mph, and won't leave anyone behind.
ACCESSIBILITY:
All are welcome to join us! We will stop frequently for breaks and have several bathroom stops. This event will be fully outside, and masks are not required, but are welcome. We will have volunteers available to help share any information. If you have any specific accessibility needs, please reach out!
KIDS:
These rides are open to anyone! Bring yourself, your family, your friends. If you are bringing small children, we ask that they tag along in a child seat or trailer if they aren't able to handle the distance by themselves.
WHICH WHEELS TO BRING?
The route is all on paved roads, so any bike or trike you have will do great!
All Out Adventures will be supporting the ride with handcycles, recumbent trikes, and wheelchair tandems. Call or email All Out Adventures directly to sign up for this equipment! 413-584-2052 or [email protected]
