This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join MassBike in creating a safer, more connected future for bicyclists across Massachusetts.

This past September, I had the opportunity to ride the Mass Central Rail Trail (MCRT) with a group of passionate advocates. As we evaluated the next steps for completing this ambitious project, I was reminded of why MassBike’s mission matters so much: it’s about more than individual trails or bike lanes—it’s about building a statewide network of safe, accessible infrastructure that connects all 351 communities in Massachusetts.

MassBike’s vision is simple yet bold: a Massachusetts where everyone—regardless of age or ability—can safely travel by bike. Through advocacy, education, and partnerships, we’re working to expand bike lanes, multi-use paths, and safer streets across the Commonwealth.
