Join MassBike for some direct engagement with your local legislators this January at our Massachusetts lobby day! On January 25th, MassBike is hosting a bike-friendly lobby day in collaboration with Senator Will Brownsberger and his staff.

The goal is to build relationships with legislators and help get our priority bike-friendly bills out of committee before the session deadline. Getting bills out of committee will keep them moving in the process and closer to being passed this session. Building relationships with your legislators is one of the best ways to build bike-friendly momentum on Beacon Hill.

There will be the option to join us on January 25th at the State House or to set up a meeting in your district. Advocates who join MassBike at the state house will receive in-person training, printed copies of our legislative one-pagers, and support from MassBike staff. For those meeting with legislators in their district, we’ll provide you with one-pagers with our legislative priorities and a virtual training session.

MassBike staff will help you set up meetings with your legislators and do our best to group you with other advocates in your district. More details are to come soon, but we need a count of who wishes to join and where they wish to take their meeting (State House or district office).
