Melville Street Bike Rodeo Block Party
A free event for kids to gain valuable biking skills and have some fun!
2nd - 5th graders are invited to register for the Bike Rodeo, hosted by Massachusetts Safe Routes to Schools. And deck out your bike with free decorations!
Berkshire Bike and Board will be providing bike safety checks courtesy of their professional mechanics.
All ages and abilities are invited to a downtown bicycle tour, leaving Melville Street at noon. The route will be determined at a later date but will utilize majority residential streets with some crossings required. Experienced marshals will be joining the ride to help escort.
Registration is highly encouraged but not required. Parents/guardians: please register the number of children who will be attending with you with the registration window above by changing the registration quantity on the right. This will help us understand the size of attendance ahead of time so we can be better prepared. Please do not count yourself in that number (for instance, if you are attending with two children, please select "2" in the quantity menu).
Riders should arrive with closed-toed shoes and a helmet.
