The Pioneer Valley Chapter of the Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition (MassBike PV) has opened up applications for small community grants of up to $500. Past grants have gone towards projects like signage for the Holyoke Urban Bike School, the Holyoke-South Hadley inaugural River Roll and Stroll, and helping Gardening the Community repair their fleet of CSA delivery bikes.

If you are interested in applying, please email questions or a completed application to Alex Weck at [email protected]. Applications are due by May 3rd, at which point all submitted will be reviewed and evaluated.

MassBike PV is committed to encouraging bicycling for fun, fitness, and transportation for all Pioneer Valley residents. The organization is especially interested in supporting projects which benefit low-income communities and/or underrepresented demographics in bicycling (e.g. women) though all are encouraged to apply.
