On Saturday, February 25th, join REI and MassBike for a free, social pace 10-mile bike ride through the Emerald Necklace area, led by local members of the Boston cycling community. This ride will be no-drop and riders of all levels are encouraged to join us!
Meet at 11 a.m. at the start of the Muddy River Pathway on the corner of Park Drive and Riverway road, right across the street from REI Boston. The ride will depart at 11:30 a.m. and last approximately 90 minutes, including a few stops. Helmets are required and participants are encouraged to bring ride snacks, water, and a flat kit. If it is actively raining or snowing, the ride will be postponed to Sunday, February 26 at the same time and place. Please register below!
If your bicycle needs a little love since the last time you used it, join REI bike techs at The Rink at 401 Park after the ride for a free basic bike tune-up and inspection. Look for the green REI tent outside of the ice skate rental tent for a chance to enter REI's sweepstakes for a $350 REI gift card and for an opportunity to win prizes on the spot! There will also be free bike lights provided by our Lights Brigade program.
The Rink at 401 Park will be open for ice skating from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Click here for more information about the ice rink and to make reservations. Reservations are highly encouraged. Check out additional events and programs happening near the ice rink here.
If you are driving to the event, parking for the ice rink and for REI Boston is located in the 401 Park Building (Landmark Center).
*By RSVPing to this event, you are agreeing to receive emails from REI about local events, classes, deals, and more.
