Celebrate the completion of the Squannacook River Rail Trail!

  • 12 PM: Music, food, kids activities
  • 1 PM: Ceremony
  • 1:45 - 3 PM Walking tour of the new section, or tour of Townsend Historical Society properties
  • Speakers include:
    • State Senator John Cronin
    • State Representative Margaret Scarsdale
    • Jake Mastrandrea, Outreach Director for Congresswoman Lori Trahan
    • Andrew Shepherd, Shepco Inc.

Please park at Cherry Hill Too, 53 Main St, Townsend, MA (next to fire station in Townsend Harbor). Everyone who attends get a free chance at a $100 gift certificate from our friends at Tomten Biketown in Leominster!
