As part of REI Co-op's Boston Pedals Together spring cycling campaign, join us for a special collaboration celebration day with REI Co-op and Women on Wheels cycling organization.    

The afternoon begins with a Mobile Bike Shop Pop-up, where REI bike techs will be onsite outside the REI store for free bike checks and quick fixes before the ride from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. We will also be offering e-bike rides with the Co-op Cycles DRT e3.1 Electric Mountain Bike.  

Local community members from Women on Wheels will lead a free, social pace 10-mile bike ride on a scenic out-and-back ride on the Charles River bike path. This ride will be no-drop and riders of all levels are encouraged to join us.    

To join the ride, meet at the corner of Brookline Avenue and Park Drive outside of 401 Park (where the REI Boston/Fenway store is located) from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. The ride will depart at 6:30 p.m. and last approximately 60 minutes, including a few stops. Helmets are required and participants are encouraged to bring ride snacks, water and a flat kit. If it is actively raining, the ride will be postponed to Thursday, May 30 at the same time and place. All riders receive a complimentary beverage of their choice after the ride at Time Out Market in the 401 Park Building (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available).    

Post-ride, we’ll head into Time Out Market from 7:30 – 10 p.m. The launch party is free to attend and will include opportunities to get REI coupons and win prizes. 

 The REI Co-op Boston store is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Boston REI store validates parking in the 401 Park parking garage (entrance is on Fullerton Street) at the 222 Jacobs Street Garage and it costs $10 for 3 hours or less after validation.
