World Day of Remembrance 2024 Mini-Grants Available Now
Every year, World Day of Remembrance serves as a solemn reminder of the lives lost and forever altered by traffic crashes. In 2024 alone, over 1,600 individuals in Massachusetts have been tragically affected by these incidents, underscoring the urgent need for safer roads and greater community support.
On November 17th, the Massachusetts Vision Zero Coalition and advocates across the state will observe the World Day of Remembrance, uniting advocates and impacted families to commemorate victims of traffic crashes. This year, we invite communities throughout Massachusetts to participate in this meaningful day by hosting events that honor the memories of those lost or injured on our roads.
Thanks to the Charlie Proctor Memorial Fund, MassBike is proud to announce the launch of World Day of Remembrance 2024 Mini-Grants. This initiative aims to empower local initiatives that commemorate victims of fatal or serious road traffic crashes. Whether you're planning a memorial gathering, a community awareness event, or a reflective ceremony, these mini-grants of $50 to $200 are designed to support your efforts.
What Events Are Eligible?
