On June 9, 2026, MassDOT, MassBike, and The Ride Cafe hosted a webinar to provide an overview for parents, caregivers, and educators on safe micromobility use for teens. Jaclyn Youngblood from MassDOT and Kara Obeng from Ride Cafe presented on updates from the Massachusetts Special Commission on Micromobility, pending micromobility legislation, and the difference between e-bikes and e-motos.
