AARP Intergenerational Bicycle Program

Calling all Worcester area adults aged 50+ and teens aged 14-18 who are interested in bicycling, we want you to join our intergenerational bicycling program! This program includes community bike rides and educational workshops to get you bicycling and learn more about the history of bicycling in the Worcester area. All participants will earn up to $100 in gift cards for their participation and other perks like free WooSox tickets.  

The program kicks off on Wednesday, August 10th with a virtual, "Getting (Back) On the Bike" workshop which will prepare participants for our in-person community rides. The first group ride will be on Friday, August 19th, and include free admission to the WooSox game that evening.

You must have a working bicycle to participate in the program and all participants must sign a ride waiver. Please see the program schedule below for workshop and ride dates, and register below.

  • Saturday 10/1, 1pm @ University Park - Ride with Worcester Earn-a-Bike
  • Saturday 10/29, location & time TBD - Halloween Ride
