Acushnet World Day of Remembrance

Before the shared Pope’s Island Remembrance Ceremony (2:30–3:00 PM), small groups will gather across the South Coast to honor those lost to traffic violence in their communities. Each gathering will include a few brief words, a flower placement, and a moment of silence before traveling together (by bike, foot, or car) to Pope’s Island for the regional ceremony.
Schedule Overview
- 1:00 PM – Gather at your chosen location for regional memorials

All are welcome. Flowers available on site. Participants will bike (via bike path) or drive together to Pope’s Island afterward.
