Bike Ride for Safe Streets

Join your neighbors for a ride down what's left of Allston-Brighton's protected bike lanes!
Come together to celebrate Bike Month and to show our city how much we value safe, accessible streets in this neighborhood. We'll take a slow, easy pace from Union Square in Allston, down North Beacon Street, right onto Market St/Leo Birmingham Parkway, right onto Western Ave, and wrap up at the Grove in Lower Allston. Along the way, we may stop to create 311 reports if we notice any infrastructure that could use attention. Afterwards, we'll recap the ride, chat about protected bike infrastructure, and (hopefully) enjoy the Memorial Day weekend weather.
This is a 2 mile route that should take about 30 minutes to complete. Bring a helmet and a water bottle!
