Get to know your new e-bike at our community workshop with Lowell's Bike Connector!

MassBike invites you to join us for a community workshop in Lowell for the e-bike voucher participants on Thursday, September 25 from 5:30p-7:30p. This will be an open discussion geared toward getting comfortable with your e-bike, learning basic maintenance, and an optional group ride around downtown Lowell. This event is be part of the Smart Cycling series, which focuses on teaching the principles of safe riding in traffic, developing bike-handling skills, and the essential do-it-yourself maintenance to keep your bicycle rolling safe and smooth.

This event is co-hosted by The Bike Connector, a Lowell based bicycle collective and bike shop making bikes safe and accessible for all.

Where: 47 Lee St, Lowell, MA 01852

When: Thursday, September 25, from 5:30p-7:30p, with a post event bike ride

Who: The E-Bike Voucher Recipients 

The event will be three parts (join for as much as you can!):

• discussion of bike safety + traffic principles
• hands-on maintenance practice
• following the workshop, a short group ride around Lowell (weather permitting)

You are welcome to bring your bicycle in order to join for our group ride, but this is not required. If you do, please bring weather-appropriate clothing, your bicycle helmet, close-toe shoes, and bicycle lights.

RSVP is required so we can make sure we coordinate the space, provide further details for logistics, and provide enough snacks for everyone. We hope you can join!
