The Greater Boston Bike Infrastructure Roundtable aims to bring together students, universities, regional and municipal transportation policymakers and planners, and bike advocates together to think critically about the current and historic systems surrounding bike infrastructure in the Boston area and discuss ways to collectively expand this vision.

Through panels, networking, and presentations, the event is both educational to attendees and serves for impactful discussion–from helping policymakers better leverage resources like data and university research to helping students become better advocates for change. Speakers include representatives from MassDOT, MAPC, MPO, Northeastern, Harvard Kennedy School of Government, University of Massachusetts Amherst, MIT, City of Newton, and City of Cambridge.

The Greater Boston Bike Infrastructure Roundtable is generously being supported and hosted by BU, as well as the organizations of MassBike, the Urbanism Club at BU, BU's Initiative on Cities, BU Transportation Services, and the Harvard Undergraduate Urban Sustainability Lab.

The Roundtable will occur on October 5th (Sunday) at the Howard Thurman Center (808 Commonwealth Ave) in room 205. It will go from 12:30pm - 4:30pm.

The event is $3 for non-BU students and free for BU students. RSVP through the Eventbrite link (https://greaterbostonbikeinfrastructureroundtable.eventbrite.com/).

For students whom the $3 registration poses a problem, please do not hesitate to reach out to [email protected]. MassBike will cover the fee for any potential attendee who needs it.
