I am a strong supporter of alternative modes of transportation and infrastructure to improve the quality of our environment as well as health and well-being. With thoughtfully designed transport infrastructure and laws, all modes of transport (autos, buses, trains, cycles, scooters, pedestrians, etc.) can coexist safely in balance. Personally, cycling is my default mode of transportation and I continue to strive to reduce my carbon footprint in other areas of life.  While individual changes in lifestyle do make a difference and set the right example, they may not be enough to alleviate the climate emergency we are faced with.  It is imperative that we strongly advocate as one voice to influence our lawmakers, decision makers, and the public at large.  This is why I support MassBike.
