Springfield's 17 Neighborhood Ride

This recreational, 30-mile, no-drop ride winds through all 17 neighborhoods of Springfield. Rest stops are at 17 miles (Breckwood Plaza) and mile 28 (Rad Bike on Bridge St) .
The ride starts and ends at the Pioneer Valley Riverfront Club on West St., near the North End Bridge. After a brief warmup on the bike path, the route heads up the hill by Bay State. It then winds through Springfield's eastern neighborhoods, featuring 3 city parks: Van Horn, Blunt, and Forest. Here, the route is relatively flat before dropping down and around Watershop Pond, then into the Southend, and downtown before hopping back onto the bike path
